Addicted to Excitement/ACOA meetings work for you?

As an ACOA, I'm addicted to excitement and so when I meet someone sweet and normal and just plain kind, I sabotage the relationship. I feel like I've pushed a lot of good men out of my life that way. I'm planning on starting ACOA meetings next week. Has anyone else tried ACOA meetings and have they helped you?
